Creative Ninja Midsummer

Today is Midsummer’s Eve. When we celebrate that sun is giving us the most light it can up in the north. The sun is also very dangerous to us and the earth protects us from most of its dangerous attributes and leaves us with it’s vitality. We must all become more vital here on Earth. And celebrate what the earth does for us by doing more for earth. Every step and every move should put us one step further towards the vision of a better and brighter tomorrow. It’s time we start pulling in the same direction towards this future. Not running around like headless chickens. Starting this midsummer weekend I will point us in the right direction. This midsummer the training will begin. The Creative Ninja Summer is about to begin!

Let’s all become vital persons for Earths future!

Come join me in Varberg on Midsommar [Midsummer] and throughout the summer. We will kick off this summer with helping each other setting great plans for the future. And hold each other accountable in creating this plans. Creativity only comes from doing. Ideas are cheap and implementation is everything.

I will also head of to London and Almedalen in the next week to come. And in July we will have a Creative Ninja Camp during Hallifornia. See you there?

Let’s Rock! Stay Relevant!

The most precious resource we have is time. We all have the same amount. How we spend is the trick. Try replacing: “I don’t have time for that right now” with “I don’t prioritize that right now” and feel the difference. The story we tell ourself before, during and after we spend time on something is the most important thing we do. Help each other to tell better stories on how we should spend time, how we are doing during and what was well spent time.

Help all your customers and followers to help them tell them better stories with what ever product you are selling or giving to them 🙂

Today I have chosen to spend time on an awesome event in Gothenburg. And tell a story about it before, during and after. Today I’m Rockin’ my time!

Världens Farligast Möte [The Worlds Most Dangerous Meeting]

I’m going to the Worlds Most Dangerous Meeting [Världens Farligaste Möte] at Liseberg. This is the second time I’m going there. As traditional conferences go this one rocks the shit out the rest of them. Each Speaker Only gets 10 minutes to pitch their presentation. And between each presenter there is live cover band giving us the best rock covers in full volume. No chance falling asleep there. Instead you jump into the next speaker feeling revigorated. The Keynote is also from former Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and rock legend Yngwie J Malmsteen.

Then we finish of the day in an awesome party with riding the latest awesome rides at Liseberg like Helix and AtomsFear, Dinner and party, the latest Mechanica and then we Rock with Yngwie J Malmsteen.

Mr Fredrik

Changing the world with politics is hard work according to former prime minister of Sweden, Fredrik Reinfeldt. Free trade is very tricky business after all. It should work great on paper. bu we do need some form of limitations but not to limiting and not the kind we have today.

We are for Change. After it happened. If it went well 🙂
— Fredrik Reinfeldt

Rock On and Stay Relevant!

This is an awesome way to mingle and present your ideas and a fun way to get insights into the latest in Marketing, E-commerce and the Digital Disruption. In this setting it’s very important to be relevant and rock on stage. Capture the eye, ear and brain of the audience. And it’s also important as a participating rocker of this show to bring your best game. Enhance everyone else’s stay by engaging during the mingling. Rock Hard and Show your best self 🙂

I’m here to rock. As a Creative Ninja at my newly launched Creative Ninja Agency I want help companies to Kick Ass and Rock’n’Roll into the future. It’s like Steven Kotler and Peter Diamandis says in the their latest book:

“The day before something is truly a breakthrough, it’s a crazy idea.
So where inside your company are you trying crazy ideas?
If you are not disrupting yourself, someone else is” – Peter H. Diamandis

There is of course some great challenges with paving the way into the future. Me and many others feel like the risk och experiment is well worth the reward of being relevant first. It’s not for all. This is for the frontrunners.

Let’s Rock! Be Dangerous! Be a Rebel!

Prep, Pitch and Pepp

Prep, Pitch and Pepp

Tonight I have been to a meetup with some fellow entrepreneurs that all joined up for a course in running your own business last fall in Varberg, Sweden. We all met up to share our stories and to do some pitching. We also talked about how we should sell ourself, our products and our services. It was all led by the awesome Jannike and Lovisa, who both radiate some much positive energy where ever they go.

Prep [Be Prepared]

When ever you are going to meet someone do your homework before you meet them. Read up on who they are and what they are passionate about. Show them that you are interested in who they are and what they do. Sincerely.

It’s curios that the knowledge of How To Win Fiends And Influence People are still not common knowledge and taught to every child, despite that is almost 80 years ago the Dale Carnage came out with his famous book and that modern science has come so far as to how to build genuine connection between people.

Pitch [Pitch Black or How To Convey Any Message]

We all need to pitch. We need to pitch our ideas to friends and family. We need to pitch our business proposal to potential clients and investors. It can be a short elevator pitch of 20 to 30 seconds. It can be in the more prepared format that some did tonight with a Powerpoint presentation of 7 slides with 30 seconds speaking time each slide totaling 3 min 30 sec. Or it can be longer really prepared pitch running 15-20 minutes with months of research and work behind it. Like the ones that Oren Klaff does.

pitch-anything-2

The Croc Brain [The Lizard Brain – The Resistance]

If we want to pitch anything we must first get our words, pictures and story past the what Oren Klaff calls the Croc Brain and Seth Godin calls the Lizard Brain. We do that by telling an emotional story that resonates with the receiver. Oren Klaff, who is a professional pitcher of the biggest ideas and deals there is, explains this well in his book: Pitch Anything. Or to just get the best part see or listen to this talk between Oren and Chase Jarvis. Even if his cases are bit extreme and most the time a kind of competitive pitching between people who are trying to “win” at any cost, you can still apply most of his thinking to your everyday pitching 🙂

Pepp [And Boost each other]

Then we have what Seth Godin calls the Connection Economy. This is a very deep topic. I sum it up in my blog post. in short it’s about all this things: Trust, Permission, Remarkability, Leadership, Stories that spread, Connection, Compassion, and Humility. We all want to be noticed and feel important. So it’s all about making your customers, your suppliers and your coworkers feel special. We all need to connect more. We also should seek out people who make us feel good and stay away from toxic people who drag us down. It’s what  true what Scott Dinsmore is always talking about in his Live Your Legend Local concept.

“The fastest way to do the things you don’t think can be done is to hang around the people already doing them” – Scott Dinsmore

In honor of that I’m hosting meetups where the main point is to meet up, share our thoughts, ideas and dreams of the future. To pep each other and to hold one another accountable for the plans we all make. Do join us for the next one on February 8th in Varberg. Or do find one in of the other 44 countries all over the world hosting one.

Selling [Don’t Sell, Make A Connection Instead]

We are all in sales now like Daniel Pink says in his book. But sales does not mean what it used to mean. It’s now more than ever to build a connection with your customer and give them what they need.

And don’t try to please everyone or make a product that everyone will want. Because if you try to do this, you will end up with a service or product that no one needs or wants.

Go Make A Ruckus!

The reason I’m so exited about all this is because they I have just finished Seth Godin’s latest audiobook in a form of a 2 hour compilation from his seminars called Leap First.

What am I Making Then?

I’m finally narrowing down what my art is and what I want to spend my time doing.

I will help people and companies to navigate the connection economy. I will offer to make speeches and workshops on how to best flourish in this modern society. I will help develop ideas, visions and strategies for this networked society.

I will create places and events where people can meet and share knowledge and be creative.

I will give the young so-called Hacker-clubs and Hackathons for us more “adult”.

I want everybody to have a curious mind about the future. And I want to teach people how to become more creative and aware  themself and their environment. That is was my first handbook is about.
